South Korea. The territory of South Korea in July came under the influence of extra-tropical monsoon zone. As a result, since the first day of this month and until now heavy rains do not stop. Daily falls of about 200 mm of rain. For the last day fell about 170 mm of rain. The main impact of this disaster occurred in central and southern regions of the country. In some areas the amount of precipitation has exceeded 500 millimeters. As a result of these showers in the mountains begun landslides and rivers came from their shores. Under the water were dozens of houses and a lot of farmland. Throughout the country about 90 houses were washed away, more than two hundred people were evacuated from their places of residence. For today officially declared dead eight people, four more are missing. In the southern part of the country traffic on highways has stopped. It is also reported that in some mountain areas a small group of tourists was cut off from the outside world. Rescuers with helicopters are trying to rescue them. At the moment, the country has suffered a multimillion-dollar damages, but forecasters predict the continuation of the Korean showers.

In the Saturday afternoon the temperature below thirty degrees was only in the Baltic countries, Switzerland, Denmark, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Belgium and on the British Isles. In other countries the air temperature exceeded the mark of thirty degrees. Even in Finland and Norway is anomalous heat, which exceeds the climatic norm by 10 degrees. The highest temperature noted in the former Yugoslavia - 38.8 degrees.
